A virtual assistant is a service provider that fulfills an assistant role in some capacity. So, a virtual assistant works for a business and takes on tasks that are no longer worth the time of the business owner. These could be admin tasks, creative tasks, financial tasks—really any kind of task. A virtual assistant usually is their own business, built to help other businesses succeed. A VA is generally self employed and provides assistance remotely. This means that a business can hire help, without the massive cost of actually adding someone to their team. They don’t have to pay for benefits, breaks, vacation time, paying for extra space and equipment, deal with taxes, dedicate hours and hours to training, or anything else that comes along with adding someone to payroll. Ultimately, it is a better deal with a deeper benefit.

A virtual assistant gives business owners the benefit of experience in the field. Not every business owner wants to spend the painstaking amount of time it takes to understand social media engagement, copywriting, search engine optimization, blog writing, or other marketing type tasks.. It can be a lot. Hiring a VA can mean greater success in these areas, because they can come with built in experience in the field!
Not only do VA’s bring experience, but they give business owners the gift of time! Running a business can feel like a 24/7 TORNADO. Delegating tasks that are not completely within a business owner's expertise can free up time to create a sustainable work/life balance. This is the ENTIRE goal of my business. I understand how much of a toll running a business can take. I want to allow my clients to have the opportunity to still live their lives! I believe that all business owners deserve to feel like their job is manageable, that their life is more than just their job, and to enjoy their work AND their job! Owning a business doesn’t have to be all consuming. It can be something that can be sustained for the long run! My goal and life passion is to give business owners a sustainable life!
